  5. Scholarship of Rs.1001/- in memory of Late Shri. Gopal Poy Raiturkar for securing highest marks in English in the S.S.C. Examination.

Shri. Saraschandra Krishna Verlekar has awarded 10 scholarships of Rs. 1000/- each in memory of his parents.

  1. The first five scholarships are given in memory of his mother Late Smt. Satyawati Krishna Verlekar to those students standing 1st in Std. I – V.
  2. The other five scholarships in memory of his father Late Shri. Krishna Verlekar are awarded to those students standing 1st in std. VI – X .

Scholarship of Rs. 1000/- by Shri. Prabhakar and Shri. Surendra Prabhu Salgaonkar in memory of their father Late Shri. Dattaram Jaidev Prabhu Salgaonkar for securing highest marks in Marathi from the school in the S.S.C. Examination.

Two Scholarships of Rs. 100/- each have been awarded by Shri Pandurang Pai Fondeker in memory of Late Shri. Madhav and Smt. Hirabai Pai Fondeker for the best boy and best girl students in the school.

Two Scholarships of Rs. 150/- each and two of Rs. 100/- each have been awarded by Shri. Ulhas P. Verleker in memory of his mother Late Smt. Vassanti Pandarinath Verleker for Table – Tennis players and for the best boy and the best girl student player in the school.

The S.S.C. Batch of 1995 – 96 of Shree Damodar V. English High School has awarded a cash prize of Rs. 200/- only for a needy and deserving student from Std. X.

The S.S.C. Batch of 2007-08 of Shree Damodar V. English High School has awarded a cash prize of Rs. 810/- for the best all round student of Std. X participating in maximum number of co-curricular activities.
